Direct to Garment Printing with Kornit NeoPigment™

According to the experts at Kornit, the most serious environmental risk factor when it comes to textile printing is that of water pollution; it has been estimated that conventional methods of processing textiles pollute as much as one fifth of our precious planet's sources of water. Kornit also revealed that the volume of water used in traditional textile printing could fill the Mediterranean Sea every two years. 
 

Though the continuing shift towards digital printing helps to reduce these impacts, many inks used in the industry require pre-treatments as well as steaming and/or washing before getting to the end user. Kornit has developed a unique solution in the form of NeoPigment™ ink.
NeoPigment™ is water-based and entirely biodegradable. It is also free of any toxins or animal products and has been approved by leading industry organisations like Oeko-Tex and the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). Ready to wear immediately after being printed, garments decorated with NeoPigment™ produce no wastewater or pollution.
Kornit have sacrificed nothing in terms of quality with NeoPigment™ and in fact this ink is far superior to others. It can be used to print photographs and designs with any number of colours and even with transparent details.
