FAQ

Are DTG-Prints durable?

Yes! Kornit, above other manufacturers offer splendid color fastness and washability in the DTG market. If you wash your garments at 30 degrees and do not iron directly onto the print it will last as long as the garment itself. Unlike Screen printing, our water based inks are much more resistant to both cracking and peeling. Resulting in a smooth print that will follow the garment.

Can you match pantone colors?

DTG printing is a digital form of printing with CMYK-colors. Our machines are setup to match all colors the best way possible. But we are not able to garantee a direct match with the pantone scale. If your pantone color is of importance please reach out to us and we will offer a solution for you.

What file type should I provide?

The best file is a PNG with transparent background. When saved the print file should be scaled to the correct print size and be ideally 300dpi. If your files doesn't look good with those parameters it probably won't look good when printing. Also note that parts within your design that are less than 2pixels in width could potentially disappear and be "choked" out of the design.

Printing Transparencies?

Why does my garment smell?

Our Kornit-printer uses a fixation agent during the printing process which has a light smell of vinegar. Which can cause the garment to have a certain smell when it arrives. This smell quickly dissappears after the first wash.

Whats your turnaround time?

For bulk printing our turnaround time is normally 5-10 working days. But often we dispatch orders much quicker than this. There are som factors that might delay an order. For example if the article ordered is not available at our supplier.
During November and December our turnaround time might increase due to heavy workflow.
